Anthony & Co Financiers have existed since 1989. In those early days, we slowly built up a small second charge loan book which continues to flourish today. We have since expanded into FIRST CHARGE private lending which encapsulates virtually any sensible proposal using bricks and mortar security.

We have never offered standard rates of interest. We do not try and compete with institutional lenders, mainstream bridging finance companies or banks. We offer intelligent underwriting based upon risk analysis, probability of default and most importantly, security. Money should be obtainable, not impossible and we have a philosophy that if the deal makes sense then it can and always should be funded.

We have never quite understood why some lenders think that they can charge a premium rate, offer a low LTV, charge expensive fees and yet still demand a cast iron exit route !

There is NO CREDIT COMMITTEE to cause a delay. You always receive a firm
YES or NO at the outset, subject to valuation, legals & due diligence.

We offer true non status lending just as we always have. We have a tiny panel of small independent private lenders who have sufficient funding to satisfy our revolving needs, and the critical lending experience that we demand of them in order to fund our discerning brokers and their clients.

Our introducers are likely to be experienced brokers or intermediaries. We do not work with packagers or inexperienced middlemen of any description. We expect to take ownership of the case from the outset and all introducer fees are agreed in writing exactly as requested. We lock out your introducers on a case by case basis to ensure that they are unable to come to us directly after you have registered them.

Speed is of the essence and until you work with us, you possibly never quite appreciate just how fast real private finance can be. Institutional short term lenders occasionally showcase a completion within two or three days and then publicise it within the financial press as if they have turned water into wine ! We do this as a matter of routine because we, our private lending partners and their solicitors offer a standard of service that is appropriate when a client is paying premium fees and costs.
